Foundation seeks donation for humanitarian service

Global Times Newspaper foundation, a leading non-governmental organisation is seeking donations from the general public to achieve its aim of helping children and the less privileged in the society.

Global Times Newspaper foundation is an arm of the Global Times Nigeria, an online newspaper that churns out unbiased, and balanced reports in Nigeria and around the world.

The aim and purpose of the foundation are to impart on lives of the less privileged (children, widows, low-income earners, among others ) in the society through the donation of food items, clothes, and other relief materials.

Since the inception of the foundation in April 2021, we have taken the responsibility of catering for an orphanage home in Abeokuta, and another community in Leme, Abeokuta, Ogun state. The organization has achieved measurable success in the last two outings. However, before the official launching of the foundation, there have been underground and unreported donations and educational training to over 5000 beneficiaries, which covered youth empowerment, educational training and catering for the widows.
