Salle is on her way to international stardom after Cristiane Amanpour of Cable News Network (CNN) expressed interest in interviewing her.
Salle, the 17-year old Nigerian street hawker gained global recognition a few weeks ago after some people recorded her singing an original song she wrote. Her voice was enchanting and many who watched the video wondered why she was not a music star yet.
Tagging the tweet of her trending video, celebrity journalist Christiane Amanpour acknowledged that Salle was a star and an inspiration to many people all over the world. She further extended an invitation to Salle, inviting her to tell her story on her television show.
Christiane Maria Heideh Amanpour CBE is a British-Iranian journalist and television host. Amanpour is the Chief International Anchor for CNN and host of CNN International’s nightly interview program Amanpour. She is also the host of Amanpour & Company on PBS.
Meanwhile, Don Jazzy is battling other record labels both in Nigeria and the States to ward off their interest in signing a super-talented 17-year-old Nigerian street hawker who has assumed centre stage on the internet thanks to her angelic voice.
This was after Chocolate City expressed interest in signing the 17-years-old girl but Don Jazzy of Mavins records has offered to make her a superstar like Rema and Ayra Starr.
“So much how music can change the world. Salle come on board let’s sign on the dotted lines and change the world together”– Chocolate City music said on Twitter
Don Jazzy who saw the tweet quickly went under to reply, “Oshee uncle choc, Abeg leave her for me. She will rock same stage with Rema and Ayra Starr.”
