Caprice Bourret has told women to “take one for the team” and have regular sex with their husbands.
The model, 49, believes women should agree to the sexual demands of their partner because it won’t last long, and is a great stress reliever.
Mum-of-two Caprice also advised women to stop complaining in the bedroom, and to simply get it over and done with.
“You can’t say ‘I’m tired’ or ‘I have a headache’ – no! Take one for the team, it’s between five to ten minutes of your life,” she told OK! magazine.
“Men are simple creatures – you feed them, give them compliments and sex and they are happy. It’s the best stress reliever.”
Caprice insisted that regular sex with her husband Ty Comfort during the first lockdown last year helped her to deal with the mental anguish and fear surrounding the global health crisis.
“During the first lockdown I was very active – I was chilled and creative. The second was more stressful, but now we’re in Ibiza, it’s like rabbits,” she candidly shared.
And the US-born model believes that any relationship will be “done and dusted” if there’s no sex, and urged women to sleep with their husbands most nights.
“You have to keep it alive. If you can settle down from your day and enjoy it, it’s fricking awesome,” she quipped.
Caprice met financier Ty in 2011, after being introduced by a mutual friend, and went on to have two children together – Jett and Jax.
They wed in 2019, and she confessed that exchanging vows with Ty has changed her approach to relationships.
“Even if we have fights, being married is a different mentality. There’s no saying, ‘I’m leaving’,” she said.
Caprice previously described her husband as the love of her life, and said they have sex regularly.
“I have a drop-dead gorgeous partner, so [I have sex] two to three times a week.”
The couple decided to use a surrogate to extend their family, after doctors told Caprice she would be unable to get pregnant, but just one month into the process, Caprice discovered she was carrying her own little bundle of joy.
“Words can’t describe our happiness when we knew we were expecting two miracle babies,” she said at the time.
“We are incredibly delighted. I have always wanted a family,” Caprice added.
“Like every career woman I worked so hard at being successful I left it a little late. But then to fall pregnant after our gestational carrier did was a miracle,” she gushed.
The couple, who also starred in the reality series Ladies of London, wed in secret in 2019, just before Caprice made her debut on Dancing on Ice.
