Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo has appealed to the Lagos state governor Babjide Sanwo-Olu to address the COVID-19 restrictions in the state. The actress in a video shared on her Instagram page said many clubs and restaurant owners are closing down due to low patronage as there is a 12-4 am curfew in the state.
She asked if coronavirus only operates at midnight and questioned the logic behind the ongoing curfew at the moment.
According to Iyabo, some police officers have also taken advantage of the situation as people now bribed their way to pass within the curfew period. She mentioned that it is getting irritating and the governor needs to address it urgently.
