The Super Eagles of Nigeria wrapped up their 2022 African Cup of Nations qualifiers with 3-0 victory over Lesotho  on Tuesday.

First half strike from top striker Victor Osimhen, and two second half goals from Oghenekaro Etebo and Paul Onuachu were enough to see off the Crocodiles at the Teslim Balogun stadium.

Leicester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho set up Victor Osimhen for the opening goal of the game in the 22nd minute of the encounter.

Osimhen however turned provider for the second scored by Galatasaray midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo early in the second  half.

Substitute Paul Onuachu wrapped up the scoring with the third goal after collecting a delightful flick from Henry Onyekuru.

The Super Eagles who were already through to the Africa Cup of Nations before kick-off finished Group L with 14 points.

The Gernot Rohr tutored side will now shift to the FIFA World Cup qualifiers which gets underway in May 2022.
