It was a bad day in the office for the Super Eagles duo of Henry Onyekuru and Oghenekaro Etebo as their club Galatasaray, slump to a shocking defeat at home to Rizesspor in a Turkish Super Lig match on Friday.

The duo was involved in the game and their efforts weren’t enough to save the team from going down 3-4 at the Telkom Arena

While Oghenekaro Etebo was handed a rare start by coach Fatih Terim, Onyekuru was introduced in the 57th minutes of the match as a replacement for Emre Kilinc.

The visitors went in front just two minutes into the match after Samu’s effort beat Galatasaray goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.

DeAndre Yedlin leveled the game for Galatasaray in the 14th minute, before  Emre Akbaba doubled their advantage in the 35th.

A goal from Fernando Boldrin in the 41st minute brought the visitors back into the game before Milan Skoda’s 54th-minute penalty gave them the lead again.

However, an own goal from Yassine Meriahin the 74th canceled out the advantage to make it 3-3 to Galatasaray.

Things got bad for hosts as they were reduced to ten-man after DeAndre Yedlin was sent off for two bookable offenses with ten minutes left to play.

The visitors dominated the game from that moment and went on to grab the winner in the 90th minutes, through Fernando Santos.

Meanwhile, Nigerian defender Valentine Ozornwafor was not listed for the match.
