Osun Babes duo of Yemisi Samuel and Yinka Adunola have been nominated for NWFL the player of the month and Coach of the month for December respectively.
Yemisi Samuel who has been in blistering form for Osun Babes has scored 3 goals in 3 games for the Omoluabi Queens.
The former Sunshine Queens striker netted a brace on matchday 3 against Pelican Stars after scoring the match-winner against, Ibom Angels away from home.
The in-form striker is joined by FC Robo’s captain and talisman, Monday Gift on the nomination list.
Gift scored a hat trick against Osun Babes on matchday 2 and also helped her team pick an away win on matchday 1 in far away Lafia against Nassarawa Amazons.
Other names on the list of nomination as gathered by Sports247 includes Delta Queens’ forward, Dominance Odubanjo, unbeaten Edo Queens’ defender Jumoke Alani and Bayelsa Queens’ Abidemi Ibe.
For coaches of the month nomination, Sports 247 confirms that Osun Babes interim coach, Yinka Adunola leads the pack.
The energetic coach led her team to 2 wins including an away win in Uyo in three matches played in December.
Joining Adunola will be FC Robo’s coach, Emmanuel who also won w games out of 3, and Rowlandson Odeh with 2 wins and a draw in the month.
