In the second half, coach Gbolade Ezekiel Tolani reacted with five changes and one of them proved to be a vital one.

With few minutes after coming on, one of the substitutes, Abdulateef Ridwan equalized for Abraysports from the spot-kick.

Yolvicmike Hellenic FA reacted with another goal capitalizing from an error from Arije Taofeeq who gave the ball away in a dangerous position.

The boys fought back in the game after John Konmavi heads a free-kick from Omolaoye Abiodun with ten minutes left to play.

Although the time was running down there was still time for more drama as Abdulateef Ridwan beats the offside track to slot in the winner for Abraysports.

Despite the late pressure from the opponent to draw the game, the boys held on to a difficult victory.

While speaking after the game, coach Gbolade Ezekiel lamented the missed chances and the character of the boys.

“We could have scored more goals and make the game less difficult than it was but the boys missed a lot of chances.”

“I don’t like the character of the boys especially after we went behind in the first half.”

“They were in a hurry to get back into the game and this caused a lot of misplaced passes and disorganized the team play and tactical approach to the game.”
